Across Africa, individuals with dwarfism face profound medical challenges, little to no access to specialized care, social stigma, and extreme financial hardship.
Behind every statistic is a human life…
A young man with dwarfism in Kenya lives in constant pain from untreated orthopedic complications. He has never seen a specialist — not only because his family cannot afford it, but because doctors in his region are not trained to treat people of short stature. Without intervention, his condition will continue to deteriorate — permanently.
This is the reality for thousands across Africa.
The Little People of Africa Foundation (LPAF) was founded to change this reality.
OUR MISSION:
to bring life-changing medical care, mobility support, education, and dignity to individuals with dwarfism across Africa.
We are a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All qualifying donations are tax-deductible. View IRS letter of proof here.
We are launching our Inaugural Campaign:
The 2026 Kenya Medical Camp
with a goal of raising $100,000 to deliver specialized medical care to those who have been waiting their entire lives for this opportunity.
This camp will provide:
US doctors who are specialized in orthopedic, surgical and genetic practice
Local doctors with training for dwarfism-related conditions
Mobility devices and support assistance
Community events and advocacy
Education and employment training opportunities

For many, this will be their first access to specialized medical care. For some, it will be the turning point that changes the course of their lives.

Leadership Giving: The Engine of This Mission
We are inviting those with the capacity to make meaningful gifts of $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, or more to help establish this inaugural medical camp and bring life-changing care to an underserved and invisible community.

These contributions directly fund medical professionals, equipment, patient care coordination, and long-term infrastructure.
LPAF is a VOLUNTEER based organization. 100% of donations go to little people in Africa in need.
Together, we can create a new era of medical access for individuals with dwarfism in Africa. Together, we can reach $100,000. Together, we can change lives!
No amount is too small, and leadership-level gifts can transform this mission immediately.
